Reconstruction work on Iraye/Odomola Road, spanning from Odomola Secondary School to Alasco Junction, is underway under the administration of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Government Area.

Officials explained that the upgraded road will strengthen connectivity between Iraye and Odomola, enabling smoother movement of goods and services, while stimulating commerce in surrounding communities.
Residents expressed optimism, noting that the reconstruction will reduce travel time, prevent vehicle damage, and provide safer passage for both motorists and pedestrians.
The road is a key link within Eredo LCDA, connecting critical neighbourhoods and supporting socio-economic growth in the area, particularly for families and businesses near Odomola Secondary School.
The administration reaffirmed its commitment to people-focused governance, stressing that infrastructure projects like this are central to improving residents’ quality of life.
“The Akinloye-led administration is dedicated to delivering practical benefits through impactful and sustainable development projects for our communities,” a council spokesperson said.
