In a move to strengthen education and healthcare delivery in Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), the Executive Chairman, Otunba (Hon.) Wale Raji Anomo, has donated a laptop and multipurpose printer to Temu Community Junior High School, and a 4.5KVA generator to Ado-Ikosi Primary Health Centre (PHC).
EpeInsights reports that the donations, made in response to specific requests from both institutions, were presented on behalf of the Chairman by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Jayesimi Ibraheem Abiodun.
He stated that the gesture reflects the administration’s commitment to improving educational administration and enhancing primary healthcare services across the LCDA.
At Temu Community Junior High School, Principal Mrs. Akinrimade received the laptop and printer with appreciation, noting that the new equipment would greatly ease administrative tasks and improve record management. She described the donation as a timely intervention, particularly important in the current digital era where efficiency and accuracy are critical for effective school management.
“This is a very timely intervention. We have long needed these tools to handle administrative documentation and correspondence effectively. The Chairman has indeed kept his word, and on behalf of the staff and students, we say a big thank you,” she said.
At Ado-Ikosi Primary Health Centre, the newly donated 3.5KVA generator aims to resolve the facility’s recurring electricity challenges. The intervention is intended to ensure that the renovated health centre operates efficiently, providing uninterrupted medical services to residents, especially during emergencies.
Otunba Anomo emphasized that no resident should be denied medical attention due to power outages.
“A health facility must never be in darkness,” he said, noting that the donation reflects his administration’s determination to deliver functional, people-centered healthcare across the LCDA.
The initiatives highlight the Chairman’s ongoing commitment to consolidating gains in governance while expanding opportunities for residents, reinforcing his administration’s focus on practical and impactful interventions in key sectors.
