The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Hon. Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has hosted the Renewed Hope Farmers’ Support and Empowerment Programme, aimed at strengthening agriculture and improving the livelihoods of farmers in the council area.

Anomo described the programme as more than an empowerment initiative, stressing that it represents a deliberate investment in farmers, the local economy and food security.

As part of the empowerment programme, farmers received various agricultural tools and support packages.
The items distributed included farming tools, fertilisers, knapsack sprayers, pumping machines and fishing nets.
