The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has held a strategic engagement with traditional rulers in the council area to strengthen the ongoing Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) registration exercise.

Epe Insights reports that the engagement, held as part of efforts to deepen grassroots democracy, focused on mobilising residents to actively participate in the electoral process ahead of upcoming elections.

Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Olowa emphasised that voter registration remains a critical pillar of accountable leadership and effective governance. He noted that democracy thrives only when citizens are actively involved in choosing their leaders.

According to the Chairman, registering and collecting PVCs empowers residents to make their voices heard and influence decisions that directly affect their communities and future development.
