Family members, friends, and community leaders have gathered in Magbon-Alade for the 8th-day Fidau prayers of the late Alhaja Otugade Risikat Aduni, mother of Mrs Fausat Otugade-Salaam, Confidential Secretary to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.
Epe Insights reports that the solemn prayer session was held in line with Islamic rites and attracted a large turnout of well-wishers who came to console the bereaved family and honour the memory of the departed matriarch.
The event featured recitations from the Holy Qur’an, special prayers for the peaceful repose of Alhaja Otugade Risikat Aduni’s soul, and words of encouragement for her children and relatives.

Attendees described the late Alhaja as a devoted mother, respected community figure, and woman of deep faith whose life was defined by humility, generosity, and service to humanity.
Family members recalled her as a pillar of strength whose guidance and moral values shaped generations within her household and community.

Mrs Fausat Otugade-Salaam received prayers and support from colleagues, friends, and associates, who urged her to take solace in the impactful life her mother lived.
The gathering also served as a moment of reflection on the transient nature of life and the importance of faith, unity, and communal support during periods of loss.

Prayers were offered for Almighty Allah to grant Alhaja Otugade Risikat Aduni Al-Jannah Firdaus and to give her family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The event concluded peacefully, with guests reaffirming their solidarity with the Otugade family during the period of mourning.
