The Noforija community in Epe Division of Lagos State received the Etsu Nupe, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Abubakar (Rtd), CFR, during a historic visit ahead of the launch of the Noforija Central Mosque.
Epe Insights reports that the visit marked a significant cultural and spiritual moment for residents. It drew the presence of traditional rulers, religious leaders, and dignitaries from within and beyond the community.
The revered monarch was warmly received by Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja and other community leaders. His arrival was greeted with admiration, reflecting his status as a respected traditional authority.

Etsu Nupe’s presence added prestige to the mosque project. He is widely regarded for his leadership and contributions to national development.
Beyond traditional leadership, he also plays a role in academia. He serves as Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University and Ambrose Alli University.
