The Lagos State Government has added a new motorcycle to the fleet of the Eredo Security Forum (ESF) in its bid to strengthen grassroots security and safeguard public infrastructure.

EpeInsights reports that the mobility asset, provided by the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, is expected to enhance the operational efficiency of local security operatives, particularly in patrolling and protecting power installations across the area.

Speaking at the official handover, the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, expressed gratitude to the state government for its consistent backing and commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Hamzat for their unwavering support to communities like Eredo.

“This gesture reflects the state’s commitment to grassroots development and security,” Akinloye noted. “We must all play our part in safeguarding public assets and ensuring stability in our neighborhoods.”

He encouraged members of the ESF to see the motorcycle not just as a tool, but as a responsibility—one that should be used with integrity and purpose.

The event, which drew community stakeholders and security personnel, also served as a platform to reinforce the local administration’s alignment with the THEMES+ agenda of the Lagos State Government—focusing on security, infrastructure, and citizen welfare.

Representatives of the Eredo Security Forum welcomed the gesture, pledging continued dedication to their duties and expressing hope for more initiatives to support grassroots security.
