Education District III has once again reaffirmed its reputation for excellence, clinching the first position at the recently concluded “Idije Arinyanjiyan ti Ipele Sekondiri Kekere” competition.
EpeInsights reports that The contest, organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, brought together students from the six education districts across the state in a vibrant display of academic prowess, cultural expression, and teamwork.
Representing Education District III, Epe Junior Grammar School outperformed other participating schools to emerge the overall winner, earning accolades for their creativity, eloquence, and mastery of the Yoruba language.
During a brief ceremony at the District Headquarters to present the trophy, the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary, TR. Osinaike Olusegun Olawale, expressed immense pride in the students’ achievement.
He commended them for upholding the district’s culture of excellence and for distinguishing themselves among their peers statewide.
Osinaike also lauded the school’s teachers and principal for their hard work and dedication, describing their commitment as the foundation of the students’ success. He prayed for the students’ continued progress and encouraged them to remain focused in their academic journey.
In recognition of the teacher’s effort, the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary presented a tablet device to the instructor who trained the students, noting that while the learners performed brilliantly, the teacher’s guidance and passion were equally worthy of honour.
“Education District III will continue to support and celebrate excellence,” Osinaike said.
“We are proud of our schools and confident that this victory will inspire even greater achievements in the future.”
