The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Hon. Wale Anomo, has congratulated Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Lagos State.

The Ikosi-Ejinrin chairman noted that party members across the 20 Local Governments of Lagos State participated massively in the APC primary election, resulting in an overwhelming 657,917 votes in favour of Dr. Hamzat.
He stated that the outcome of the primary election demonstrates the confidence party faithful have in the leadership capacity and progressive vision of the APC candidate.
According to Hon. Anomo, Dr. Hamzat’s emergence further validates his years of loyalty, competence, administrative experience, and commitment to the development of Lagos State.
He described the APC governorship candidate as a visionary leader whose contributions to governance and public service have remained impactful over the years.

The council chairman emphasized that Dr. Hamzat has consistently distinguished himself through effective leadership, intellectual depth, and dedication to progressive governance.
Hon. Anomo also expressed confidence that the APC candidate possesses the experience and understanding required to consolidate growth and stability across Lagos State.
He noted that the emergence of Dr. Hamzat has continued to generate excitement and renewed confidence among party members ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
