Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Oluwadahunsi has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for Epe Constituency II after polling the highest number of votes in the exercise.
Epe Insights reports that the official party collation sheet showed that Hon. Ogunkelu secured 15,810 votes to defeat other aspirants and emerge as the APC candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The primary election was conducted across wards within Epe Constituency II as part of the APC’s internal process to select candidates for the next electoral cycle.
According to the results released after the exercise, a total of 18,391 votes were recorded during the primary election, reflecting strong participation from party members and delegates across the constituency.
Political stakeholders described the exercise as peaceful and well coordinated, noting that the process demonstrated active grassroots involvement within the APC structure in the constituency.
Supporters of Hon. Ogunkelu, popularly known as Sketel, celebrated the outcome shortly after the announcement of the results, expressing confidence in his leadership and political strength.
