The Adegbajo of Odogbawojo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Maruffdeen Adelani Olufunmilade Adeniyi (Oke I), has extended warm congratulations to the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (Telade IV), on the celebration of his 5th year coronation anniversary.

EpeInsights reports that in a goodwill message issued on behalf of the people of Odogbawojo, Oba Adeniyi described Oba Ogunsanwo’s reign as a remarkable era of peace, progress, and transformation for Ilara Kingdom and its environs.

“Alayeluwa, your five years on the throne look like a decade, owing to the massive developmental strides you have brought to Ilara and surrounding communities,” the Adegbajo of Odogbawojo stated.

He noted that the Alara’s rich pedigree as a technocrat and seasoned public servant before ascending the throne has continued to bring dignity, respect and honour to the traditional institution.

According to him, Oba Ogunsanwo’s leadership has been marked by unprecedented peace, harmony, and infrastructural development, making Ilara a shining example of purposeful traditional leadership.

Oba Adeniyi also offered prayers for the Alara, wishing him long life, good health, and divine wisdom to continue to steer the affairs of Ilara Kingdom to greater heights.

“Kabiyesi, as you mark your 5th year on the throne, I pray that Almighty God will continue to uphold and strengthen you, granting you abundant prosperity to keep leading our people with grace and wisdom,” he added.

The Adegbajo of Odogbawojo concluded his message with traditional prayers for the Alara’s reign: “Ade a pe lori, Bata a pe lese, Eshin Oba a joko pe o” — meaning, “May the crown endure on your head, may the royal slippers remain firm on your feet, and may the royal horse sit with you for long.”

The 5th coronation anniversary of the Alara of Ilara has continued to attract glowing tributes from across Lagos State, with community leaders, political stakeholders, and traditional rulers commending the monarch for his visionary leadership and commitment to cultural preservation.
