The Concerned Nation Builders Initiative (CNI) has extended heartfelt congratulations to Professor Nosirudeen Olajide Onibon on his recent conferment as a full Professor by the Governing Council of Lagos State University (LASU).
EpeInsights reports that CNI in a statement described the achievement as “well-deserved” and a “remarkable testament to decades of scholarship, leadership and community service.”
The group also recalled Professor Onibon’s previous recognitions, notably naming him Epe Division Man of the Year 2021 at the prestigious Epe Division Community Annual Awards (EDCAA).
A seasoned academic and respected figure in Lagos State’s education sector, Professor Onibon has served as the former Provost of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) and former Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University of Education (LASUED).
His career reflects an enduring dedication to intellectual advancement, Islamic scholarship, and grassroots development.
“As an organization committed to national growth and youth empowerment, we proudly celebrate this milestone,” CNI stated.
“Professor Onibon’s elevation is not just a personal triumph but a shared pride for the entire Epe Division and the Nigerian academic community.”
CNI also praised Professor Onibon’s role as a mentor and ethical leader, highlighting his significant influence on both academic and religious circles.
His contributions, they noted, continue to inspire countless individuals across Lagos State and beyond.
The organization expressed optimism that the new academic rank will offer Professor Onibon even greater platforms to influence positive change through sound scholarship, principled leadership and moral guidance.
“May your journey in academia continue to flourish with honour, wisdom, and excellence,” the statement concluded.
