As preparations intensify for the upcoming local government elections in Lagos State, the Orirede Foundation in Ward F has thrown its weight behind the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, with a symbolic show of support.
EpeInsights learnt that in a brief but vibrant presentation ceremony held earlier today, the foundation, led by its coordinator Hon. Tijani Ibrahim Aluko, donated branded souvenirs including T-shirts, face caps, and banners to the Council Chairman.
The event was graced by notable political figures, including the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Mojeed Olayinka, and a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewale Raheem Kazeem.
The donation, according to Hon. Aluko, reflects the foundation’s commitment to grassroots mobilization and its readiness to support democratic processes and effective leadership at the local level.
Receiving the items, Hon. Olowa expressed appreciation to the foundation for its continued support and reaffirmed his administration’s focus on inclusive governance, development, and peace ahead of the elections.
“The momentum for the local government polls is in top gear,” said Akadiri Ayorinde, Chief Press Secretary to the Council Chairman.
“All hands are on deck to ensure the success of the exercise in Ibeju-Lekki.”
The gesture by the Orirede Foundation is seen as one of many community-led endorsements expected in the lead-up to the polls, signaling growing political engagement and support for local leadership within the council area.
