The Lagos State Government has called on ambassadors of the Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OTCI) to remain committed, resilient and focused in their efforts to drive lasting reforms in the Public Service.
EpeInsights reports that the Director-General of OTCI, Mrs. Toyin Anjous-Ademuyiwa, made this appeal during a recent knowledge-sharing event held at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC). The event brought together both new and returning ambassadors of the office.
Anjous-Ademuyiwa acknowledged that public service reform is a challenging task and urged the ambassadors to be prepared for obstacles such as bureaucratic processes, entrenched traditions, and resistance to change.
Also speaking at the event, Deputy Director at the Ministry of Finance, Nurudeen Anibaba, who was recognized for his revenue harmonisation initiative using QR codes, encouraged ambassadors to remain focused on their transformation goals.
Participants described the event as a valuable opportunity to gain insights, build morale, and reinforce their commitment to reforming the public service.
