The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Chairman of the Lagos State Conference of Local Government Chairmen, Conference 57, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has congratulated Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat on his 62nd birthday.
Epe Insights reports that Olowa, in a birthday message issued on behalf of his family, Conference 57 and the people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, described Hamzat as an exceptional public servant.
Olowa commended the Deputy Governor’s intellectual capacity, administrative experience and contribution to governance in Lagos State.
According to the Ibeju-Lekki chairman, Hamzat has played a significant role in connecting the state government’s vision with developments and realities at the grassroots.
He also described the Deputy Governor as an important figure in promoting stability, equity and technological advancement across Lagos State.
Olowa said the occasion provided an opportunity to recognise Hamzat’s years of service and contribution to the development of the state.
The Ibeju-Lekki chairman also expressed his goodwill towards Hamzat as he begins another year of his life.
In his message, Olowa said he and the people he represents would continue to stand with the Deputy Governor.
Olowa further expressed his wish for Hamzat to achieve what he described as a successful outcome in the 2027 Lagos State Governorship Election.
The statement represents Olowa’s political support for Hamzat ahead of the 2027 election, where Hamzat is a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olowa also referenced Hamzat’s record in public service, saying it demonstrated his readiness for further responsibilities in Lagos State.
The birthday message comes as political activities and preparations for the 2027 elections continue across Lagos State.

Beyond the political context, Olowa used the occasion to offer prayers for the Deputy Governor’s wellbeing and continued service.
He prayed for robust health, divine wisdom and long life for Hamzat.
Olowa also expressed the hope that the Deputy Governor would continue contributing to the development of Lagos State and Nigeria.
Hamzat, who serves as Lagos State Deputy Governor, has held several public positions and has been involved in the administration of the state.
The birthday message from the Ibeju-Lekki chairman also reflects the relationship between local government leadership and the state administration.
Conference 57, which represents the chairmen of Lagos State’s local government areas and local council development areas, provides a platform for coordination among local government leaders.

Olowa currently serves as Chairman of the conference while also leading Ibeju-Lekki Local Government.
His message therefore combined his personal goodwill with remarks made in his capacity as a local government leader.
The celebration also provides an opportunity to highlight the role of public officials in governance at both state and grassroots levels.
Olowa concluded his message by wishing Hamzat a happy 62nd birthday and continued success in his public service career.
He called on divine blessings, wisdom and strength for the Deputy Governor as he enters another year.
The message was signed by Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Chairman of Conference 57, Lagos State.
