The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Engr. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Ayinde Nasir, on his formal installation as the Alajasa of Lagasa Community.
Epe Insights reports that the presentation of the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to the newly installed monarch was held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Secretariat.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the traditional history of Lagasa Community and attracted government officials, traditional rulers, community leaders and other distinguished guests.
Among those present was the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, who represented the state governor at the ceremony.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, also attended the occasion.
Royal fathers and community stakeholders joined government representatives in witnessing the formal recognition and installation of the new Alajasa.
In his welcome address, Chairman Olowa expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Government for recognising the traditional institution in Lagasa.
He described the presentation of the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment as an important development for the community and the entire Ibeju-Lekki Local Government.
