Hon. Abiodun Tobun, representing Epe Constituency I, has described his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate as a clear reflection of renewed confidence in his leadership and representation.
Epe Insights reports that the APC primary election for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat in Epe Constituency I was conducted across various wards on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with party members participating actively in the selection process.
The lawmaker stated that his victory represents a strong endorsement from constituents who have continued to support his legislative efforts and community engagements over the years.
He further noted that the primary election was peaceful, transparent, and well-organised, allowing delegates and party members to freely express their preferences without interference.

“The primary election was very free and fair. The people came out to choose the candidate of their choice, and the result came well in my favour,” Tobun said.
