The ongoing reconstruction of Odo-Mola/Iraye Road in Eredo LCDA has continued to advance steadily under the administration of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye.
Epe Insights reports that the project is being executed under the leadership of the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area, with key infrastructural works currently ongoing along the road corridor.
As part of the current phase, the installation of cover slabs on the drainage channels is actively in progress to improve water flow and flood management in the area.
The drainage system is also being designed to serve a dual purpose, providing proper water channelization while creating a safe pedestrian walkway for residents and road users.

This development is expected to enhance accessibility and safety along the Odo-Mola/Iraye axis, especially during peak movement hours.
Residents of the area have expressed optimism that the project will significantly reduce flooding challenges that have previously affected the road.
The initiative forms part of the broader infrastructure development agenda of the Eredo LCDA administration aimed at improving road networks across communities.
Hon. Akinloye’s leadership has continued to prioritize road rehabilitation projects that directly impact transportation and local economic activities.

Officials supervising the project noted that the construction work is being carried out in phases to ensure durability and quality standards.
They added that proper drainage infrastructure remains a key focus to extend the lifespan of the reconstructed road.
The project is also expected to improve inter-community connectivity, making movement between Odo-Mola, Iraye, and surrounding areas more efficient.
Community members have commended the ongoing work, describing it as a welcome development that reflects responsive governance at the grassroots level.
The Eredo LCDA administration reaffirmed its commitment to delivering more infrastructural projects aimed at enhancing living standards across the council area.
