CGCC, EKEDC Move to Improve Ibeju Power Supply

 The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), alongside its technical partner CGCC, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.

Epe Insights reports that the Chairman was represented at the meeting by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo. The visit centered on strengthening collaboration to improve electricity supply across the area.

Discussions focused on expanding power infrastructure. The engagement underscored the need for reliable electricity to support the growing population and economy.

After the meeting, the delegation moved to Ibeju-Agbe community. They carried out an inspection of the proposed site for an embedded power station.

The facility is expected to draw supply from the Elemoro Substation. This connection will enhance power distribution capacity within the axis.
