The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals Research Institutes, and Associated Institutions has inaugurated its Protem Executive Committee at Federal Medical Centre Epe.

Epe Insights reports that the inauguration, held on March 25, attracted national, state, and sectoral leaders of the association. Senior staff members across departments attended, reflecting broad participation and support.

The newly inaugurated executives include Felix Oyawiri Ejiro as Chairman, Omosehin-Ojikutu Omowunmi as Vice Chairman, and Salami Tolulope Oluwaseun as General Secretary. Other members are Alesinloye Kemisola Helen as Treasurer, Arepo Olumide Oladotun as Financial Secretary, Asifat Sekinat Omobolanle as Public Relations Officer, and Ajisebutu Iyanoluwa as Trustee.

The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by SSAUTHRIAI representatives from both national and state levels. They charged the new executives to uphold accountability, transparency, and effective representation of members.

Speaking at the event, the Director of Administration, Mr Shittu, represented the Medical Director. He emphasized the importance of unity and professionalism among staff.

He described the formation of the executive committee as a positive development. According to him, it will enhance staff welfare and improve collaboration within the hospital system.

Mr. Shittu also urged the new leadership to work closely with management. He stressed the need for integrity and cooperation in achieving institutional goals.

The event was attended by key SSAUTHRIAI figures, including Adebayo Samuel Ayodele and other branch leaders from various institutions. Their presence highlighted the importance of the occasion.
