The Mustain Abiodun Tobun 2027 Team (MAT 2027) has organised a Ramadan lecture, special prayers, and a Qur’anic competition in Epe.
Epe Insights reports that the event was held at the constituency office of Hon. Abiodun Mustain Tobun, member of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The programme featured a public Ramadan lecture, special prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a Qur’anic quiz, and scholarship awards.
Over 1,000 bags of 5kg rice and Iftar packages were distributed to constituents.
Prominent Islamic clerics attended the gathering, including Sheikh Abdur Raheem Abdullahi Salaty (Albaarizy).

Also present were Sheikh Abiola AbdulRahman Sadallah, President-General of the League of Imams and Alfas and Grand Chief Imam of Epe Division.
The Chief Imam of Epe Land, Sheikh Oriyomi AbdulKabir Shamura, and Sheikh Akanni Ijaodola Ubaidalla Moreblessing were in attendance.
Clerics commended Hon. Tobun for his contributions to community and religious development.
Special prayers were offered for Nigeria, Lagos State, Epe Division, and the lawmaker.

The prayer session for President Tinubu focused on divine guidance and wisdom.
Delivering the lecture, Sheikh Salaty emphasised unity, contentment, and love among Muslims.
He urged residents to avoid envy and embrace patience and service.
The Qur’anic competition featured five secondary schools across Epe.

Army Children High School emerged first, winning ₦100,000 and a certificate.
Epe Girls High School placed second with ₦75,000, while Odo-Obara High School came third with ₦50,000.
Epe Grammar School and Ogunmodede College finished fourth and fifth respectively.
All contestants received certificates and participation awards.

Hon. Tobun announced a scholarship for Azeez Sofiat Taiwo of Epe Girls High School.
The event concluded with distribution of food items to thousands of residents.
Hon. Tobun reaffirmed his commitment to spiritual and socio-economic development in Epe Constituency I.
