A new executive council has been inaugurated to lead the National Body of the Federation of Epe Division Students Association (FEDSA), marking a leadership transition across Epe Division.

Epe Insights reports that Comrade Asorobi Kazeem Damilare was elected National President following the January 4, 2026, poll conducted by the FEDSA National Independent Electoral Commission.

Asorobi secured six votes to defeat Bakre Isreal Boluwatife, who polled four votes, and was subsequently sworn in before delegates and stakeholders of the association.

Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Rukayat emerged as the first National Speaker, completing the top leadership structure of the students’ umbrella body.

Other elected executives include Onoshokun Monsurudeen Abayomi as Vice President and Ariyo Rhoda Opeyemi as General Secretary.

Also elected are Shittu Habeeb Olumuyiwa as Financial Secretary, Bisiriyu Hassan Taiwo as Public Relations Officer, and Ligali Mariam Tejumola as Treasurer.

Oresanwo Moridiyat Modupe will serve as Welfare Director, while Shabi Maryam Ajoke becomes Social Director.

Ogunbiyi Hafsoh Yewande was elected Legal Director, Bashorun Hameed as Assistant General Secretary, and Olateju Abdullah as Sports Director.

In his acceptance speech, President Asorobi pledged unity, effective representation, and impactful programmes for students across Epe Division.

Observers say the new administration now faces the task of implementing policies that will strengthen student engagement and advance FEDSA’s objectives.
