The All Progressives Congress (APC) Membership E-Registration exercise in Epe Division is reshaping grassroots political participation and strengthening internal party structures across communities.
Epe Insights reports that the digital registration exercise has recorded steady participation across wards in Epe Local Government and Eredo LCDA, with party members, youths, women, first-time voters, and community leaders actively enrolling.
Stakeholders describe the exercise as more than routine registration, noting that it is laying a solid foundation for transparency, unity, and sustainable internal democracy within the APC.
At various registration centres, party officials confirmed that the e-registration system has improved data accuracy, reduced duplication, and replaced the outdated paper-based process previously associated with complaints and exclusion.
Members at the grassroots expressed renewed confidence in the party, saying the digital platform has enhanced their sense of recognition and inclusion in party affairs.
The Aladeshoyin and Paramount Ruler of Odo-Noforija Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Alaiyeluwa Oba (Dr.) Babatunde (JP, FMBE) Olaogun Ogunlaja, openly lent moral support to the exercise, describing it as a tool for order, credibility, and collective political progress.
The monarch noted that proper documentation of party membership is essential for stability and cohesion, especially at the community level where grassroots participation drives political success.
Also playing a key mobilisation role is the Eredo Apex Leader, Mrs. Stella Oladunjoye, who has been actively encouraging party faithful to embrace the e-registration process.
Mrs. Oladunjoye described the exercise as a turning point for party unity, stressing that credible membership records will eliminate distrust and internal disputes.
“This exercise gives every genuine member a sense of belonging. When people are properly registered, fairness and unity naturally follow,” she said.
Observers believe the successful implementation of the APC e-registration in Epe could influence broader political realignments, deepen grassroots engagement, and strengthen the party’s organisational capacity ahead of future electoral activities.
