The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced its E-Membership Registration Exercise across all wards in Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), as part of efforts to strengthen party structures and deepen grassroots participation.
Epe Insights reports that the exercise officially began on Monday, January 5, 2026, targeting both new members and existing party members seeking revalidation of their membership.
The registration exercise is being conducted simultaneously across wards within the council area to ensure broad participation and inclusiveness.
Eligible participants are required to be 18 years and above, possess a valid Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), and have a National Identification Number (NIN).
To ensure smooth and uninterrupted registration, the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, donated five generator sets to support the process.
Each generator was allocated to a ward to power laptops and printers used for the digital registration exercise.
Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Akinloye described the e-registration as a crucial step towards building a stronger and more organised party at the grassroots.

He noted that a credible and inclusive membership register remains the foundation of internal democracy and effective political participation.
The Chairman emphasized that logistics and power supply challenges should not hinder participation in such an important party exercise.
“No ward should be left behind due to logistics or power challenges, which is why we provided generators to support this important exercise,” he said.
Party leaders and ward officials commended the intervention, noting that it would enhance efficiency and prevent disruptions during the registration process.
Residents and party supporters were encouraged to take advantage of the exercise and register within their respective wards.
The APC e-membership drive in Eredo LCDA is expected to further strengthen party mobilization ahead of future political activities.
