The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced its nationwide E-Registration and Revalidation Exercise, scheduled to begin on Monday, January 5, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s structure at the grassroots.
Epe Insights reports that the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has urged party members and residents of the LCDA to actively participate in the exercise to ensure broad representation and inclusiveness.
Akogun Anomo described the registration as a critical step toward building a stronger, more organized APC that reflects the will of the people at the community level. He noted that the exercise is not a mere formality but a strategic move to reposition the party ahead of future engagements.
He encouraged existing members to revalidate their membership while calling on eligible residents to seize the opportunity to formally register and obtain official APC membership cards.
According to the council chairman, the exercise will help update and authenticate the party’s database, eliminate irregularities, and create room for new members to officially identify with the APC.

He explained that eligibility requirements include being 18 years and above, possession of a valid National Identification Number (NIN), and ownership of a Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).
Akogun Anomo further stressed that all committed APC members across the six political wards in Ikosi-Ejinrin must take the revalidation seriously, noting that active participation will enhance unity, preparedness, and grassroots mobilisation within the party.
He reaffirmed his confidence that the exercise would further strengthen the APC’s presence and organizational capacity across the LCDA.
