A fidau prayer session has been held in Epe, Lagos State, in honour of the late High Chief Tajudeen Oriyomi Ayeola, a respected community leader and prominent figure in the cooperative movement.
Epe Insight reports that the prayer session attracted family members, traditional rulers, religious leaders, cooperative stakeholders, and residents who gathered to seek divine mercy for the deceased and celebrate a life devoted to service and leadership.
The fidau prayer took place at Ogunmodede College, Papa, Epe, where Islamic clerics led supplications, asking Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late chief and grant him Aljanah Firdaus. The atmosphere was solemn, reflecting the deep sense of loss felt across the community. 
Late High Chief Tajudeen Oriyomi Ayeola, popularly known as the Àrobayo of Epe Land, was widely acknowledged for his dedication to community development, economic empowerment, and cooperative growth at both national and continental levels.
Speakers at the event described him as a bridge builder whose leadership style promoted unity, discipline, and progress. They noted that his contributions to cooperative institutions and grassroots development would remain a lasting legacy.
Community leaders present emphasised that the late chief lived a life of impact, mentorship, and selfless service, urging younger generations to uphold the values he stood for.
Family representatives expressed gratitude to all attendees for their support and prayers, describing the turnout as a reflection of the respect and goodwill the late chief earned during his lifetime.
