The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, has empowered 100 young girls through the Epe Girls Explorer Space initiative.
EpeInsights reports that the programme is designed to inspire, educate, and equip girls with vital life and leadership skills, giving equal opportunities to students, out-of-school girls and persons living with disabilities.
Speaking at the presentation of the project report, Hon. Animashaun said the initiative reflects her commitment to inclusivity and building confident, visionary female leaders.
She described the project as “a promise to nurture the next generation of strong and confident women who will shape the future of Epe.”
Community stakeholders praised the programme for promoting gender equality and aligning with Lagos State’s goal of empowering the girl-child at the grassroots.
Organisers say the initiative has now become a movement to build a stronger and more empowered generation of Epe girls.
