The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment and innovation at the 6th & 7th Graduation and 8th Induction Ceremony of Project L.O.U.D (Lagos of Our Dreams), held on Wednesday, at the Sanwo-Olu ICT/Skills Acquisition Centre, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

EpeInsights learnt that the Governor who was represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, congratulated over 1,000 graduating youths and welcomed 500 new entrants, noting that the initiative is a core part of the T.H.E.M.E.S+ Agendafocusing on Education, Technology, and building a 21st-century economy.

“Project L.O.U.D is not just a skills programme it’s a platform to turn dreams into enterprises,” the Governor stated.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, ESV. Wasiu Adebayo Olayinka, described the event as a milestone in the State’s efforts to fight unemployment and boost entrepreneurship. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to expanding access to market-relevant skills.

The event showcased talents in ICT, photography, fashion, baking, craftsmanship, and more. Beneficiaries also shared inspiring testimonies of transformation through the programme.

The Governor encouraged the graduands to be ambassadors of the Lagos of Our Dreams, create value, and build stronger communities.
