Oloja of Epe Celebrates 2024 Ojude Oba Oloja of Epe Celebrates 2024 Ojude Oba

The Oloja of Epe Land, His Royal Majesty Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, on June 8, led the 2025 Ojude Oba Festival in Epe, Lagos State, in a colourful celebration of culture and tradition.

EpeInsights reports that the annual festival, held three days after Eid-el-Kabir, brought together indigenes, residents, and dignitaries to honour the monarch and showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Epe community.

In his address, Oba Animashaun thanked God for another successful edition of the festival and called for unity, peace, and a collective commitment to the development of Epe.

He urged the youth to stay away from social vices and contribute positively to the community.

Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Epe Constituency I, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, praised President Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat for their support of Epe’s growth.

The Oloja of Epe Land commended the people of Epe for their resilience and unity.

Also speaking, Chairman of Epe Local Government, Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, applauded the developmental projects in the area and encouraged youths to be innovative and constructive in their actions.

She described the festival as a turning point for renewed dedication to peace and progress.

The 2024 Ojude Oba celebration featured traditional displays, music, and community participation, reinforcing the town’s cultural pride and solidarity.
