The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Branch paid a courtesy and supervisory visit to the People Progressive Change (PPC) club during its April general meeting on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
EpeInsights reports that the NYCN Epe delegation, led by Comrade Moibi Ibrahim, carried out the visit as part of its quarterly initiative to monitor and support youth-led organisations driving change in the community.
During the meeting, PPC National President, Comrade Issa Abdulhamid, presented highlights of the club’s contributions to youth development through initiatives such as; skill acquisition programs, educational outreach and mentorship schemes.
“We are proud of the impact our members continue to make,” Abdulhamid said.
“This visit by NYCN is not just a recognition—it’s an encouragement to go even further.”
In his response, Comrade Ibrahim praised PPC’s consistent efforts in empowering young people and fostering a culture of civic responsibility.
“Your work speaks volumes,” he remarked. “Our presence here is not only to observe but to express our gratitude and pledge stronger collaboration.”
He further noted that NYCN Epe is committed to partnering with groups like PPC to organize capacity-building workshops, expand youth networks and ensure inclusive participation in community transformation.
The meeting ended on a high note with both organizations reaffirming their joint commitment to building a stronger future for the youth of Epe and beyond.
“Together, we can continue to raise the bar for youth leadership and development,” Comrade Moibi added.
