Epe Insights reports that the visit, led by the NDLEA Area Commander, Commander Garba Simon Kunkur, took place at the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Secretariat as part of efforts to address drug abuse, peddling, and trafficking within the axis.

The engagement focused on deepening inter-agency cooperation in response to the rapid population growth and increased economic activities in Ibeju-Lekki, which have heightened the need for coordinated security and social interventions.

Commander Kunkur emphasised the importance of grassroots collaboration, stressing that community intelligence sharing and sustained local government support are vital in tackling drug-related challenges.
