In an interview with the media, the community leader, Oloja Ogegbo of Ibonwon Land, detailed how residents quickly organised themselves once the situation was reported. He noted that the community acted promptly to prevent any potential conflict or damage to farmlands.

The residents successfully escorted the herdsmen and their cattle out of Ibonwon, reinforcing the community’s stance on safeguarding local security and agricultural livelihoods.
