The MFA Ambassadors have extended a warm congratulatory message to Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa and Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji on their victory as Chairman and Vice Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government in the recently concluded local government elections.
EpeInsights reports that the elections, held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, saw the incumbent chairman, Hon. Olowa, secure a fresh term in office alongside his running mate, in what supporters and observers have described as a vote of confidence in their performance and leadership style.
In a statement signed by Ọ̀gbẹ́ni J.A Ọláwálé, Coordinator of the MFA Ambassadors, Ward E, the group described the re-election as “a resounding endorsement of exceptional leadership, visionary governance, and unwavering dedication to the growth and prosperity of Ibeju-Lekki.”
The statement highlighted Hon. Olowa’s calm strength, purposeful governance, and track record of community impact. “Your re-election is a reward for your proven leadership marked by vision, integrity, and genuine service to the people,” the group noted.
“You have touched lives across communities and laid solid foundations for lasting development.”
The MFA Ambassadors, who identify as proud foot soldiers of Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, pledged their continued support for the newly re-elected leadership, expressing confidence that the new term would bring about deeper impact and enduring legacies in Ibeju-Lekki.
“With greater purpose, renewed energy and higher expectations, we look forward to the next phase of growth and transformation under your leadership,” the group added.
The re-election of Hon. Olowa and his deputy, Hon. Olatunji, is seen as a continuation of stability and progress in the fast-developing Ibeju-Lekki area, which has become a focal point for investment and infrastructure development in Lagos State.
