Lagos State Governor Swears in Oladipupo Oluwaloni as Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA Chairman

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has officially sworn in Honourable Oladipupo Oluwaloni as the new Chairman of Ayobo/Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA). This follows the passing of former Chairman, Mrs. Bolatito Shobowale, who died after a brief illness.

Epe Insights reports that during the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) across the state in achieving a greater Lagos.

The Governor urged the new Chairman to adopt a people-first approach to governance and accelerate development in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S Plus Development Agenda. He also called on residents, community leaders, and political stakeholders to collaborate with the new leadership to enhance good governance in Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA.

In a heartfelt moment, Governor Sanwo-Olu paid tribute to the late Bolatito Shobowale, describing her as a visionary leader and a dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly for the progress of Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA.

Expressing gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu for his appointment, Honourable Oladipupo Oluwaloni praised his late predecessor and pledged to continue her developmental initiatives in healthcare, education, and security, while upholding good governance.

The swearing-in event was attended by Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Bolaji Roberts and other top dignitaries.

Commissioner Bolaji Roberts formally presented the new chairman to the governor before the official oath-taking.
