The Lagos State Government has officially opened the online registration portal for the 2025 entrance examination into its prestigious Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
EpeInsights reports that the Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, said the e-registration process which kicked off on Thursday, February 6 will run until Friday, May 16, 2025.
The screening test—open to Primary 6 pupils from both public and private schools—will be conducted exclusively as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) from Wednesday, May 28 to Friday, May 30, 2025, at designated CBT centres across the state.
Mr. Orunsolu emphasized that only pupils who have completed registration and paid the application fee of ₦10,000 are eligible to participate. Interested candidates are required to register through the official Examinations Board portal at https://pay.examboard.com.ng/model/payment/login.
He reiterated that performance in the screening test remains the sole criterion for securing admission into JSS1 in any of the State’s Model Colleges or Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
