Ibeju-Lekki Local Government has called on eligible residents to apply for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Police Force (NPF) recruitment exercise. The announcement was issued under the administration of Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.

Epe Insights reports that the recruitment drive is open to qualified Nigerian citizens who meet the educational, physical and age requirements set by the Police Service Commission and the NPF.

According to the statement, applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess at least five credits in WASSCE, GCE, NECO or NABTEB obtained in no more than two sittings, including English and Mathematics.

Eligible candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old, medically and physically fit, and must meet the required height standards of 1.67m for men and 1.64m for women. Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of application.

The council added that applicants must hold a valid means of identification, such as a National ID card, voter’s card, driver’s licence or international passport, before applying.

The recruitment portal will open on Monday, 15 December 2025, and close on Sunday, 25 January 2026, giving applicants a six-week window to submit their online forms.

Interested candidates are required to complete their applications on the official NPF recruitment portal at https://npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, with the process described as entirely free of charge.

Applicants are also expected to print out their completed online forms and guarantor forms and submit them to the office of the Chief of Staff, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, or call 08055050846 for inquiries.

The statement emphasised that the recruitment will be conducted transparently and in full alignment with the federal character principle, cautioning applicants against fraudulent individuals.
