The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Engr. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa received the prestigious Starlight Man of the Year Award.
Epe Insights reports that the colourful ceremony held at Jata Event Centre & Resort, Ibeju-Lekki, also honoured distinguished personalities for their contributions to community development and public service.
Among the honourees were Senator Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru, Barr. (Mrs.) Olayinka Saidat Oladunjoye, and Hon. Oladele Ajayi (OLADBABA).

Traditional rulers recognised included HRM Oba Babatunde Olaogun Ogunlaja, HRM Oba Olayemi Lukman Arowolo, Chief Moshood Odusegun Anwoju, and Otunba A.I. Musa-Adebamowo.
Also honoured were Hon. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, Amb./Otunba Olayiwola Adedoyin Giwa, Barr. Adebayo Saliu-Okulu and Alhaji Kola T.A. Seriki.

Security, administrative, and community leaders such as Lt. Col. S.T. Enye, Alhaji Rasak Osunsan, Dr Bakare Isiaka Adeyinka, and others were equally recognised.
Speaking after receiving his Outstanding Community Builder award, Alhaji Seriki dedicated the honour to the people of Oke Balogun Community.

He commended residents for their efforts in youth engagement, artisan empowerment, and widow support.
Publisher of Starlight Newspaper/Celebrity Magazine, Mr Damola Aderibigbe, said the annual award celebrates individuals who have impacted humanity.

He noted that recognition inspires greater commitment to service and excellence.
The event concluded with appreciation to sponsors and supporters of the 2026 edition.
