In a demonstration of its steadfast commitment to grassroots development and sustainable service delivery, the Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has announced plans to commission another round of landmark projects in the coming weeks.

EpeInsights learnt that the projects, which cut across key sectors of infrastructure, governance, and public service, are being delivered under the visionary leadership of the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye.

According to the council’s mouthpiece, Jubril Idris (Epe-CityJnr), the upcoming commissioning will include several transformative projects that reflect the administration’s determination to enhance local governance and improve the quality of life for residents.

Among the projects slated for commissioning are the new Eredo LCDA Legislative Building, a modern Marriage Registry, an Agency Building, the rehabilitated Lawal Street Road and seven solar-powered boreholes strategically located across various communities within the council area.

“This milestone reflects our administration’s dedication to the THEMES Plus Agenda of the Lagos State Government and our unwavering desire to make Eredo a model of sustainable development,” the statement read.

The new projects, once commissioned, are expected to further strengthen institutional capacity, promote civic engagement, and improve access to essential services such as water, infrastructure, and administrative facilities at the grassroots level.

Hon. Akinloye’s administration has consistently emphasized people-centered governance, prioritizing initiatives that align with the broader vision of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led administration, which focuses on inclusivity, infrastructure renewal and economic empowerment.

The forthcoming commissioning is set to build upon the council’s growing portfolio of completed community-impact projects, reinforcing Eredo LCDA’s status as one of the most development-driven councils in Lagos State.

“Indeed, progress continues in Eredo,” the statement concluded, reaffirming the administration’s ongoing drive to sustain growth, accountability, and meaningful development across all communities within the LCDA.
