The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has joined in the outpouring of goodwill messages to mark the birthday of Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki (BAMU), describing him as an exemplary leader, a mentor and a father figure to many in Lagos State.

He described the esteemed elder statesman as a man of “inestimable value” and “extraordinary quest for excellence,” whose legacy is firmly etched in the political and social fabric of Epe Division.
“Alhaji Seriki is not just my leader; he is my mentor and father,” the statement reads.
“He is a man constantly concerned about the progress of others, and he derives joy from their growth.”
The chairman joined fellow Lagosians and Nigerians in celebrating Seriki’s lifelong service, patriotism, and dedication to community upliftment. “We thank you for your leadership and for leaving your footprints on the sands of time,” Akinloye added.
He offered prayers for continued divine guidance, wisdom, and good health for the political icon, who is a member of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) and the Apaase of Epe Land.
