The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has reinforced his administration’s focus on staff welfare and community safety with the presentation of a brand-new bus to the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE).
Epe Insights reports that the presentation ceremony was held to underscore the council’s commitment to strengthening organised labour operations and improving security coverage across communities in Eredo LCDA.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Akinloye described the donation of the bus as a strategic investment in the welfare of council workers, noting that motivated employees are critical to effective grassroots governance.
He stated that the new bus would enhance the operational efficiency of NULGE and further support coordinated labour activities within the council.
The council boss also presented a patrol vehicle to the Security Joint Task Force, stressing that security remains a top priority of his administration.

According to him, improved mobility for security operatives would enhance surveillance, boost rapid response, and strengthen the protection of lives and property across Eredo communities.
Hon. Akinloye emphasised that meaningful development cannot be achieved without a safe and secure environment, assuring residents of sustained support for local security structures.
Receiving the bus on behalf of NULGE, the union chairman, Comrade Okunboyejo Olusesan, expressed deep appreciation to the council chairman, describing the gesture as timely and unprecedented.
He noted that the donation would significantly ease union operations and further motivate workers to remain committed to service delivery.
The presentation reaffirmed the Eredo LCDA administration’s resolve to prioritise staff welfare, security, and people-oriented governance.
