Eredo Local Council Development Area has strengthened grassroots governance with the presentation of operational vehicles to the Vice Chairman and Councillors of the council, aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery across wards.
Epe Insights reports that the vehicles were officially presented by the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, as part of efforts to enhance administrative responsiveness and community engagement at the grassroots level.
The Deputy Leader of the sixth Legislative Arm of the council, Hon. Sulaimon Adebola Odubanjo (POI), described the initiative as timely and impactful, noting that mobility remains critical to effective legislative duties.

He explained that improved access to transportation would enable councillors to engage constituents more frequently, respond promptly to local issues, and carry out oversight responsibilities more efficiently within their respective wards.
According to Hon. Odubanjo, the provision of operational vehicles reflects the Chairman’s clear understanding of the practical challenges faced by elected representatives in grassroots governance.

He further praised Hon. Akinloye’s leadership approach, describing it as inclusive, purposeful, and people-focused, with a strong emphasis on empowering those entrusted with public responsibilities.
The presentation of the vehicles is expected to improve response time to community needs, strengthen legislative effectiveness, and support smoother coordination between council leadership and residents.

Observers note that under Hon. Akinloye’s administration, Eredo LCDA has recorded steady progress through targeted investments focused on governance efficiency, accountability, and sustainable community development.
The initiative reinforces the council’s commitment to responsive leadership and improved service delivery for residents across Eredo LCDA.
