Epe is set to record a major boost in educational infrastructure as landmark projects at Epe Grammar School and Temu Community Senior Secondary School are scheduled for commissioning.
Epe Insights reports that the commissioning and handover ceremony will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, with activities taking place at Epe Grammar School and Temu Community Senior Secondary School, Lagos State.
The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, has been formally invited to serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the event.
The projects were facilitated in response to long-standing requests from school managements, parents, teachers, alumni associations and host communities, aimed at improving learning facilities and expanding access to quality education.

At Epe Grammar School, completed projects include newly constructed 100-bed hostels for boys and girls, a reconstructed Principal’s Lodge, Corps Members’ Lodge and staff quarters, a mini stadium, and a two-kilometre internal road network with drainage and solar street lights.
Other facilities include an ICT centre, a rehabilitated and furnished dining hall and kitchen, a refurbished legacy classroom block and a newly upgraded boys’ hostel.
At Temu Community Senior Secondary School, a fully furnished block of twelve classrooms, with offices for the Principal and Vice-Principal, has been provided to support the take-off of the senior secondary school.
The facilitator described the interventions as strategic investments in the future of young Nigerians, focused on creating safe, modern and conducive learning environments.
Community stakeholders have welcomed the projects, describing them as transformative and capable of restoring confidence in public schools across the Epe axis.
The ceremony is expected to attract education stakeholders, government officials, traditional rulers, alumni, parents and community members.
