Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA made a bold and vibrant statement on Tuesday, July 1st, as it took center stage at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Epe Division Mega Rally held at the Epe Recreation Centre.
EpeInsights reports that the rally, which brought together APC stakeholders and supporters from Ikosi-Ejinrin, Epe Local Government, and Eredo LCDA, was a spectacular show of unity, grassroots strength, and political finesse.
However, it was the Ikosi-Ejinrin contingent—dazzling in coordinated attire, carrying branded materials, and chanting spirited slogans—that captured attention and dominated the spotlight.
Led by Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the APC Chairmanship Candidate and incumbent Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, the delegation arrived with infectious energy and precision. Their vibrant display, under the careful coordination of Campaign LOC Chairman Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf, drew applause and admiration from across the political divide.
Also present were the LCDA’s Councillorship candidates, Campaign Committee members, and party loyalists from all six wards of Ikosi-Ejinrin.
The massive turnout and seamless coordination reflected the LCDA’s strong political structure and unwavering support for the Anomo–Dehinsilu ticket.
Speaking at the rally, Akogun Anomo expressed deep appreciation to all party faithful, saying, “Your presence and overwhelming support made this rally a resounding success. This is what a united, progressive Ikosi-Ejinrin looks like.”
Secretary of the Campaign Committee, Hon. Anthony Ajewole, echoed the sentiment, stating, “On behalf of our Campaign General Chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf, and the entire leadership of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, I say thank you. Today’s turnout is a testament to your dedication and belief in our shared vision.”
The rally also served as the official unveiling of all APC Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship, and Councillorship candidates across the Epe Federal Constituency. Among the dignitaries in attendance were Alhaji Seriki Akanni Bamu, Grand Leader of APC in Epe Division; Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly; Chief Mrs. Olayinka Olusanya, APC Lagos East Vice-Chairman and Chief Host; Otunba Tola Kasali; Otunba Bode Oyedele; Hon. Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives.
Others are; Hon. Mustain Abiodun Tobun; Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu; Dr. Hakeem Babatunde Shittu; Barr. Olayinka Oladunjoye; Hon. Samson Onanuga; Hon. Olusegun Adetola; Hon. Wittu Bamidele Ajenifuja, APC LGA Chairman, as well as several cabinet members, party executives, and government officials.
The Chairmanship candidates officially presented at the rally included Akogun Wale Raji Anomo for Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun for Epe Local Government, and Hon. Monsuru Ismail Akinloye for Eredo LCDA.
