Engr. Rasaki Kasali Continues Grassroots Food Relief Distribution in Lekki

In furtherance of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope food security and welfare initiative, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), will on Friday, October 17, 2025, continue the monthly distribution of food palliatives to residents of the council area.

EpeInsights reports that the October edition of the outreach is targeted at the aged, widows, widowers, and other vulnerable residents, reaffirming the council’s commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in the government’s social welfare agenda.

According to a statement from the Media Office of the Executive Chairman, the distribution exercise will again be conducted house-to-house to ensure that the relief materials reach the intended beneficiaries directly, without diversion or interference.

Engr. Kasali noted that the initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes targeted food assistance and social inclusion at the grassroots level. He reiterated that the council’s welfare program is designed not only to provide immediate relief but also to foster compassion and community solidarity in challenging economic times.

“We are committed to sustaining this monthly outreach as part of our responsibility to the people, particularly those who are most in need. The Renewed Hope vision is about touching lives positively and ensuring that government presence is felt in every home,” Engr. Kasali was quoted as saying.

Beneficiaries of previous distributions have expressed gratitude for the consistency and transparency of the process, describing it as a lifeline that has eased the burden of daily sustenance.

The council urged residents to remain calm and cooperative as officials move through communities for the house-to-house distribution exercise.
