The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has met with a team of medical professionals ahead of the upcoming ‘Save Our Men’ Free Health Mission, scheduled to hold this weekend in Lekki.
EpeInsights learnt that the outreach, organized by the council, is expected to provide free medical screening and treatment for over 800 men across the LCDA, with a special focus on prostate and dental health.
Speaking during the strategic meeting, Engr. Kasali said the initiative underscores the council’s commitment to preventive healthcare and community wellness, stressing that men must take their health more seriously and embrace regular medical checkups.
“This initiative is part of our commitment to preventive healthcare and community wellness. We want to encourage our men to take their health seriously and make use of this opportunity,” Kasali stated.
He lauded the medical team for their collaboration and professionalism, assuring them of the council’s full support to ensure the success of the exercise.
The chairman further noted that the Save Our Men Free Health Mission would include medical consultations, health screenings and public awareness sessions to promote early detection and treatment of illnesses common among men.
Kasali emphasized that the outreach aligns with the council’s broader efforts to promote access to quality healthcare and reduce preventable health complications through timely diagnosis and education.
The programme is expected to draw participants from various communities within Lekki LCDA, providing men with a rare opportunity to access vital medical services free of charge.
