The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has praised Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, for his consistent strides in advancing education and healthcare infrastructure within the council area.

EpeInsights learnt that Anomo gave the commendation during the official commissioning of newly completed school and healthcare projects facilitated by Senator Abiru across Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, a development he described as “a continuation of his people-centred and transformative representation.”

According to the Chairman, the Senator’s leadership has continued to set a benchmark in responsive and impact-driven governance.

“Senator Abiru’s representation reflects excellence, compassion, and foresight. From facilitating two blocks of three classrooms at Itoikin to providing solar-powered boreholes and other empowerment initiatives, our communities have continually felt the positive impact of his leadership,” Anomo said.

He added that the latest projects further align with Senator Abiru’s philosophy of “the greater good for the greater number,” stressing that governance must translate into real and measurable progress for the people.

“On behalf of the government and good people of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, we express our profound gratitude and reaffirm our commitment to continued partnership for greater progress,” he said.

Delivering a goodwill message on behalf of the Senator, Mr. Bamidele Abiru thanked residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin for their support and cooperation, assuring them of the Senator’s unwavering commitment to inclusive development.

“Distinguished Senator Abiru remains passionate about equitable progress across all communities. He believes no area under his watch should be left behind,” Bamidele stated.

“We urge residents to take ownership of these facilities and ensure their proper maintenance for collective benefit.”

Also speaking, Aare (Hon.) Olusegun Olulade, Director of Marketing and Customer Centricity at Galaxy Backbone Limited, lauded Senator Abiru for his visionary leadership and applauded Chairman Anomo for fostering collaboration that attracts progress.

“Education, healthcare, and infrastructure are central to Senator Abiru’s legislative priorities. These facilities are designed to uplift lives, improve access, and promote human capital development,” Olulade said.

Similarly, the Education Secretary of Epe Local Government Education Authority, Otunba Shittu Aliu Idowu, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Senator for his investment in education, describing the new structures as “symbols of hope, opportunity and transformation.”

The commissioning ceremony drew community leaders, education stakeholders, political figures and residents who unanimously commended Senator Abiru for his developmental impact and grassroots-oriented leadership.
