As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has extended heartfelt felicitations to Nigerians, urging unity, patriotism and renewed hope for national progress.

EpeInsights reports that in his goodwill message, Kasali expressed gratitude to God for the nation’s journey since independence, describing the anniversary as a time to reflect on the sacrifices of the founding fathers and the responsibility of citizens to build a stronger and more peaceful Nigeria.

“Independence reminds us of the courage of our founding fathers and the responsibility we carry to keep building a stronger, united, and peaceful Nigeria,” he said.

Highlighting achievements at the local level, the Chairman noted that Lekki LCDA has continued to invest in education, youth empowerment, and community development.

He emphasized that these strides demonstrate the impact of collective effort and unity of purpose.

“I am proud of the progress we continue to make together; a solid proof that when we work as one, we can achieve great things,” Kasali stated.

Kasali also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for taking bold steps to revive the economy under the Renewed Hope Agenda, and Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his transformational leadership in Lagos State.

According to him, their leadership inspires local councils to deliver meaningful governance to the grassroots.

“My prayer on this special day is that Nigeria will continue to grow in peace, unity and prosperity. Let us stay hopeful, work hard, and remain united; because the future of this nation depends on all of us,” he added.

The Lekki LCDA Chairman concluded his message with prayers for Nigeria, Lagos State, and Lekki LCDA, reaffirming his commitment to continue serving the people with dedication and integrity.
