As Nigeria’s Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, PhD, marks his Diamond Jubilee birthday, tributes have continued to pour in from colleagues, associates and well-wishers across the country and beyond.

He highlighted the Speaker’s inclusive leadership style and open-door policy, which he said have not only strengthened unity within the Green Chamber but also fostered stronger collaboration among lawmakers.
“Your open-door leadership style, inclusive approach, and listening ear have not only strengthened the unity within the Green Chamber but have also deepened the bonds between us as colleagues and compatriots,” he added.
Rep. Raji further noted that Speaker Abbas’ tenure has ushered in purpose-driven legislation and people-oriented governance that have impacted lives across the country, including in Epe Federal Constituency.
According to him, the Speaker’s visionary leadership has inspired hope, progress, and renewed faith in government’s capacity to make a difference.
“As you mark this remarkable milestone, I pray that the Almighty continues to bless you abundantly with greater wisdom, enduring strength, divine protection, and unmatched grace. May your years ahead be even more impactful than the ones past,” Raji prayed.
He concluded by celebrating the Speaker not only as a national leader but also as a personal friend and brother, describing him as “a gift to Nigeria.”
