The Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), under the leadership of its Chairman and Wife of the Lagos State Governor, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting vulnerable children through a humanitarian outreach to orphanage homes in Igando Oloja, Ibeju-Lekki and Ologolo, Eti-Osa.
EpeInsights learnt that during the visits, the committee delivered a wide range of essential household items including refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, fans, mattresses, bed sheets, school bags and shoes.
In addition, varieties of food items were donated to improve the welfare of the children, while financial support was provided to cover school fees, ensuring access to uninterrupted education.
Speaking on the initiative, representatives of COWLSO noted that the outreach reflects the committeeโs vision of uplifting the less privileged and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
They emphasized that the gesture aligns with the groupโs longstanding tradition of promoting education, social welfare, and community support across Lagos State.
Since its inception, COWLSO has been recognized for its impactful social interventions, ranging from health and education support to empowerment and community development programmes.
The latest outreach further demonstrates its enduring commitment to spreading love and compassion, particularly to vulnerable groups in society.
