Hon. Monsuru Ismail Akinloye, Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has received glowing commendation following his landslide re-election victory in the just-concluded local government polls in Lagos State.

Ibraheem Ogunbanwo, Provost of SMASE and Treasurer of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter, who described the victory as a reaffirmation of the people’s trust in Hon. Akinloye’s leadership and vision for grassroots development.
“Hearty congratulations to Hon. Monsuru Ismail Akinloye on your well-deserved re-election victory. This triumph reaffirms your unwavering commitment to community development and good governance,” Ogunbanwo said in an e-signed statement.
He praised Akinloye for his passion for progress and inclusive leadership, stating that the overwhelming support he received at the polls was earned through years of service, accessibility, and result-driven governance.
The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) declared Hon. Akinloye winner after he secured 25,017 votes, defeating the opposition candidate from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored just 424 votes.
Ogunbanwo expressed optimism about the future of Eredo LCDA under Akinloye’s continued leadership, wishing him a term filled with impactful milestones.
“Your return to office is more than just a political win, it is a renewed call to service. May your leadership continue to drive sustainable growth and positive transformation across the community,” he added.
Akinloye’s victory has also been celebrated by party loyalists and community stakeholders who see it as a vote of confidence in his previous term and a green light for the continuation of development initiatives.
